Mapping Fashion: Paris

Paris, one of the world's, if the not, the world's greatest fashion capital. The home of classic haute couture labels including Chanel, Dior and Yves Saint Laurent. Travelling to Paris with my uni study group allowed me to explore the world of Parisian style, and a sighting of the Eiffel Tower also occurred! The trip included visiting 'La Mode Retrouvee' at Palais Galleria which showcased the wardrobe of Elisabeth, Countess of Greffulhe, née Elisabeth de Caraman-Chimay (1860-1952). Also featured in the itinerary was a visit to Printemps and Galleries Lafayette, a luxurious 7-floor department store and Le Marais' concept store, Merci.
